The American Idol auditions are typically performed in six to seven U.S. cities every season. If you have ever get the chance to watch an American Idol audition then you will notice that there are some outstanding singers that get cut, while some not so talented singers are selected. Many a time I have wondered while watching the judges screw up time and again at the American Idol auditions, are they seeing and hearing what I do? The thousands of contestants selected during the American Idol auditions will be filtered into a few hundred. During the next stage of American Idol auditions, the contestants are further filtered in the Hollywood round and ultimately 24 contestants will go to the semifinals of which 12 are females and 12 males.
